Jose Gomes, the Portuguese coach of Al-Fateh SC in Saudi Arabia, has dismissed recent reports connecting his club with potential signings of Hakim Ziyech from Galatasaray and Ahmed Sayed Zizo from Zamalek.

In an official statement, Gomes stated, "I have not suggested the signing of Ziyech or Zizo." He clarified that he had defined the team's needs accurately, and the club's management is currently working to meet these needs based on the outlined requirements.

Earlier reports, especially from Turkish and Egyptian news, said that Ziyech had agreed to join Al-Fateh, with only the financial details with Galatasaray left to sort out. There was also talk about Zizo possibly moving to the Saudi team because of his past connection with Gomes when they both worked at Zamalek.

Gomes made it clear that Al-Fateh is still focused on improving the team based on their tactical needs. They are busy in the transfer market, but they are not currently trying to sign Ziyech or Zizo.

At the same time, Zizo’s contract renewal with Zamalek has become a problem. The 29-year-old winger has been very important for the club, but he hasn’t agreed to a new deal yet. Recent reports say his father, who is also his agent, has suggested that Zizo might join their rivals, Al Ahly, which is making things even more complicated.
