Barcelona’s management began the Camp Nou renovation in 2023, and according to media reports, the project cost around 1.5 billion euros. Due to paperwork issues, the Blaugrana were unable to return to their home ground for a long time, but on November 22, Hansi Flick’s side finally played a La Liga match at the revamped stadium. On that occasion, the Catalans demolished Athletic Bilbao with a stunning 4-0 victory.
The Barcelona presidential election will take place on March 15, and the winner will assume office on July 1.
