Juventus already tried to sign Aït-Nouri during the summer, proposing a loan deal with an option to buy, but Manchester City rejected their approach and decided to keep the defender at the Etihad Stadium.

The Algerian has yet to make a Premier League appearance this season. His involvement has been limited to 90 minutes in the League Cup against Norwich City and a 15-minute appearance in the Champions League against Porto.

Juventus believe the defender's limited opportunities could make a January transfer possible. According to Italian reports, Aït-Nouri was already open to joining the Turin club during the summer, but Manchester City were unwilling to sanction his departure.
