Return after nine years: Juventus sign experienced goalkeeper Neto

Brazilian goalkeeper Norberto Neto is returning to Juventus as a free agent.

Details: According to respected Italian insider Nicolò Schira, the Turin giants have reached a principal agreement with the 37-year-old Brazilian shot-stopper. The player still has to undergo a mandatory medical, after which the transfer will be officially announced.

The goalkeeper's new contract with the Bianconeri will run until June 2027. The Old Lady entered the free-agent market because of the serious injury suffered by Polish goalkeeper Kamil Grabara, who will be sidelined for an extended period.

Neto previously played for Juventus from 2015 to 2017, winning two Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia trophies with the team. During his European career, the experienced Brazilian also represented Fiorentina, Valencia, Barcelona, Bournemouth and Arsenal of London.
