Ivorian Ligue 1: ASEC Mimosas’ official line-up for their opening match against Yamoussoukro FC

The reigning Ivorian Ligue 1 champions begin their title defence this Saturday, 26 September.

In their opening match of the 2026–2027 Ivorian professional league season, ASEC Mimosas will face newly promoted Yamoussoukro FC. The match will kick off at 3.30 pm GMT at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro.

The Ligue 1 title holders, who will play their first match of the season away from home, will be looking to assert their status against last season’s Ligue 2 winners. The Mimosas will be aiming to get the new season off to the best possible start. Meanwhile, Yamoussoukro FC remain ambitious.

The match promises to be a close contest at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium. For this season’s opening clash, ASEC Mimosas manager Julien Chevalier has revealed his starting XI.
