Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior shared his thoughts on his team's painful defeat in the match against Arsenal.

Details: Liam Rosenior emphasized that his side delivered a very solid performance at a stadium where Arsenal traditionally dominate and rarely drop points.

“It's a devastating blow. We genuinely believed we could progress further. In the dressing room, the lads were simply gutted, and that's completely understandable,” Rosenior admitted.

According to the manager, the result didn't quite reflect the flow of the game:

“The match could easily have gone our way. We're disappointed, but the team's response to this setback in the days that followed has been very positive.”

Rosenior stressed that there's no point in looking back now, as crucial league challenges lie ahead.

The squad is now fully focused on preparing for their next opponent — Wolverhampton. The coaching staff is confident that if the players maintain the same level of commitment and discipline they showed in London, positive results will surely follow.

Notably, the Premier League Matchweek 25 clash between Wolverhampton and Chelsea will take place on Saturday, February 7, at 16:00 Central European Time.

Reminder: Chelsea have entered the race for Atlético's Argentine striker Julián Álvarez.
