Details: According to The Mirror, London side Chelsea has also entered the race for the 26-year-old forward from Atlético Madrid and the Argentina national team – Julián Álvarez.
It is reported that the Blues are ready to challenge Arsenal and Barcelona in the pursuit of the player during the summer transfer window.

Previously, Barcelona had already attempted to sign Álvarez, but Atlético's response was categorical. Earlier media reports stated that the "Colchoneros" set a release clause for Álvarez at €200 million.
Julián Álvarez joined Atlético Madrid in 2024 from Manchester City for €75 million. This season, he has played 31 matches for the club, scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assists. His current contract with Atlético runs until 2030, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is €100 million.
