Official. Atlético Madrid announce the signing of Ademola Lookman

Atlético Madrid have decided to strengthen their attacking line and have agreed on the transfer of Atalanta’s Nigerian forward.

Details: Atlético Madrid have officially announced the signing of Ademola Lookman. The deal with the Nigerian attacker runs until 2030.

Quote: “Our club and Atalanta have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Nigerian footballer, who will wear the red-and-white shirt for the remainder of this season and the next four. Atlético Madrid and Atalanta have agreed on the transfer of Ademola Lookman, who has signed a contract with our club until 30 June 2030,” the statement reads.

We previously reported that Atlético will pay Atalanta a fixed fee of €35 million, plus an additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses. As a result, the total package reaches €40 million, the amount requested by the Italian club.
