It has been revealed who will join the coaching staff of Orlando Pirates' new head coach

Orlando Pirates have officially announced the appointment of their new head coach. Abdessalam Ouaddou has taken the helm, and now the club has revealed who will join his coaching staff.
Details: The Pirates' official website confirmed that Mandla Ncikazi, Ryan Jacobs, Helmy Geldich, and Tyron Damons will work alongside Ouaddou. The group is set to arrive in South Africa at the end of this week. Preparations for the upcoming season will kick off on June 27.
Ouaddou's most recent managerial job was with Marumo Gallants. He took charge of the club in March 2025, starting his tenure with a 2-0 victory over Orlando Pirates.
Under Ouaddou's guidance, Marumo Gallants played 12 matches: five wins, four draws, and three defeats. He also led the team to the semifinals of the South African Cup, where they narrowly lost to the Pirates — 0-1.
Reminder: Orlando Pirates have announced an action-packed preseason, during which the club will embark on a tour of Spain and play four friendly matches. The squad will be in Europe for almost two weeks — from July 8 to July 20, 2025.
