Big names on the horizon! Orlando Pirates announce opponents for Spanish training camp

Orlando Pirates have unveiled a packed preseason schedule, with the club set for a Spanish tour featuring four friendly clashes. The team will spend nearly two weeks in Europe—from July 8 to July 20, 2025.
This tour comes amid the search for a new head coach following the departure of Jose Riveiro. The club is expected to announce the new manager before the official start of preseason training, which kicks off on July 6. The frontrunner for the position is Rhulani Mokwena.
Notably, this marks the Buccaneers’ third visit to Spain in recent years. Their first opponent will be English side Bolton, with the match set for July 11. Two days later, on July 13, the team faces Cypriot club Pafos, before testing themselves against Spanish outfits Las Palmas and Granada.
