Details: According to renowned journalist Nicolò Schira on his social network page X, 39-year-old Fiorentina forward Edin Džeko has informed the club's management of his desire to leave the team during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Reports indicate that Genoa is aware of the player's intentions and has already contacted his representatives to discuss a potential move, as Džeko maintains a good relationship with head coach Daniele De Rossi.
Džeko joined La Viola in July this year as a free agent from Turkish side Fenerbahçe. During his time in Florence, Džeko has featured in 17 matches and scored 2 goals. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €1.6 million.
Earlier, media outlets reported that during one training session, some Fiorentina players got into a fight with each other and subsequently decided to leave the club.
