Liverpool striker Alexander Isak is entering the final stretch of his recovery.

Details: According to Paul Joyce, the 26-year-old Swede has almost completed his rehabilitation from a severe ankle injury that included a fibula fracture. The Reds’ attacking leader is expected to rejoin full training immediately after the international break.

The rehabilitation process was closely supervised by head of rehabilitation physiotherapy Lee Nobes. Inside the club, an interesting psychological shift is noted: during his enforced absence, Isak has become much more open and integrated within the squad. This period of rehab has helped the previously reserved forward adapt better to the new environment, which could have a positive impact on his on-field chemistry in the future.

It’s worth noting that this season the Swede has managed to make sixteen appearances for the Liverpool club, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

Reminder: Only one English team out of nine won in European competitions this week.
