Is it the right decision? Premier League considers monitoring goal celebrations regularly
The English Premier League is continuously looking to introduce new regulations, and one of the latest potential changes involves monitoring players' goal celebrations.
Details: Sky Sports journalist Rob Dorsett has reported that the Premier League is currently exploring the possibility of keeping a closer watch on how players celebrate goals during matches.
The reason behind this move is the league’s desire to impose sanctions on players whose celebrations damage the league’s image, provoke fans, or incite opposing players.
Additionally, it was previously reported that Premier League head of football Tony Scholes stated that the accuracy of key VAR decisions has increased to 96.4%, while the number of errors has dropped below 20, now standing at 13.
Reminder: Recently, referee Anthony Taylor has come under heavy criticism, particularly for awarding a controversial penalty to Brighton in their match against Arsenal.
