Inter Milan's management will discuss extending the contract with right-back Denzel Dumfries. This was revealed by Inter's director Ausilio to Sky Sports.

"Denzel expressed his desire to stay. He is keen to continue his work here.

We will soon discuss his contract. If there are any new proposals, we will talk to Denzel, but he is happy here," said the top manager of the Nerazzurri.

The Dutchman's contract with the Milan club expires in June 2025.

Earlier reports indicated that the Nerazzurri value Dumfries at no less than €20 million. This is the sum they hope to receive at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

It was also reported that Inter will not stand in the way of Dumfries leaving this summer, as previous negotiations for a new contract reached a dead end. The current agreement with the Dutchman is valid until June 2025.

At the end of May, Inter gained new owners. The club came under the ownership of Oaktree Capital.
