Inter Milan is on the hunt to bolster its midfield and has entered direct talks with Liverpool regarding the potential transfer of Curtis Jones.
Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the deal on the table is a loan for the 25-year-old English midfielder, with an option to buy. Both parties are currently engaged in active discussions over the finer points of the agreement.
However, it’s important to note that Jones’ move to the Nerazzurri would only materialize if Davide Frattesi leaves the club. The Italian midfielder is a serious target for Nottingham Forest, who are currently awaiting a final response from the Milan side.
It’s worth noting that this season, the English midfielder has made 29 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions, recording one assist — a contribution that came recently in a Premier League fixture against Burnley. Transfermarkt currently values Jones at €40 million.
Reminder: Former Liverpool player Albert Riera has been officially appointed as head coach of Eintracht.
