Details: According to A Bola, the Portugal captain missed team training for the third consecutive day on Wednesday, September 30. The report says Ronaldo then left Parken in a Portuguese Football Federation vehicle while his teammates, with the exception of Francisco Conceição, were already working on the pitch.
The timing made the episode especially striking. Only minutes earlier, head coach Jorge Jesus had told reporters that Ronaldo would train. Jesus explained that the forward had previously completed gym work as part of his workload management and insisted that he would return to the pitch with the squad.
A Bola also reported that video captured Ronaldo leaving the stadium accompanied by two Portuguese Football Federation staff members.
