Incredible stats: South Africa's national team outplays Morocco on nearly every level

On Sunday, May 18, the final of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations took place, with South Africa overcoming Morocco. But this is far from the country's only triumph.

Details: The Instagram page Vuvuzela published statistics of recent matches between South Africa and Morocco at all levels. In the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, the South African women defeated the Moroccans 2-1, while in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers, the senior men's team also beat their North African rivals 2-1.

Later, South Africa's main squad once again triumphed over Morocco in the qualifiers. Now, the South African youth team has also come out on top in the final of the youth AFCON.

The only exception remains the U-17 team, which lost to Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations with a score of 1-3.

Reminder: This result marks South Africa's best achievement in history. Previously, the team lost in the final in 1997 and claimed bronze medals in 2019.
