José Mourinho shared his thoughts after his team's Portuguese Cup clash against Atlético Lisbon, stressing that his players ignored his instructions in the first half.

Details: In the post-match interview, the 'Special One' expressed his frustration that most of the squad failed to meet his demands, forcing him to make four substitutions—though he admitted he could have changed almost the entire lineup.

"At half-time, I made four substitutions, but I should have made nine. Those nine players weren't on the pitch. Only two should have stayed," noted the Benfica coach.

He also commented on the effectiveness of his tactical setup:

"The system works. The problem is that the players in it aren't working. I don't like those who betray me," Mourinho declared.

The fourth round of the Portuguese Cup ended with a 2-0 victory for Benfica. The goals for the Eagles were scored by Richard Ríos and Vangelis Pavlidis from the penalty spot.

Recall: Benfica footballer Andreas Schjelderup admitted to distributing an intimate video involving minors.
