Hugo Broos urges Bafana Bafana to return to winning ways against Czechia this Thursday
Hugo Broos expects Bafana Bafana to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to Mexico with a much improved display against Czechia this Thursday.
South Africa's Bafana fell to the World Cup co-hosts in the opening game last Thursday much to the disappointment of Broos, who has now urged his troops to rise in Atlanta.
“You know, there’s still seven days, those guys are professionals, if you can’t recuperate in seven days for another game, that will be ridiculous," said Broos ahead of the clash at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
“I don’t think that will be a problem, I think we need the next two days to get over the disappointment of today and also the fatigue.
“But from Saturday and Sunday, the guys will be ready again, to have good training, and also we have to work on our offensive game, because it was not enough in this game."
Czechia also lost their first game against South Korea and that will make their clash against South Africa an interesting one.
The match will start at 6pm South African time.
