Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has reached a major milestone in his career after winning his first-ever trophy, as Manchester City defeated Arsenal 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

The victory also places Semenyo in the history books as only the second Ghanaian to win the competition, following Michael Essien.

The match was decided in the second half, with Nico O’Reilly scoring twice to secure a comfortable win for City on a memorable day at Wembley. The victory also saw Manchester City lift the League Cup for a ninth time, further cementing their dominance in English football.
