After the match, City's head coach Pep Guardiola expressed his admiration for the young player.

“Rico Lewis is a top, top player. In the one-against-ones defensively, he's unbelievable. In the pockets, he moves like a player few times I've seen in my life! He does everything good!” Guardiola told Sky Sports.

Rico Lewis has now made 52 appearances for Manchester City, scoring 3 goals and providing 4 assists.
