This summer, Kylian Mbappé joined Real Madrid. Although the French forward did not travel with the team for their tour of the United States, he has confidently started the season. In his very first official match, Mbappé scored his debut goal.

During the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Mallorca, Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti praised Mbappé:

"As with all new players, the people at the club are doing their best to make him feel comfortable. He [Mbappé] is extraordinarily talented, and we must help him adapt. He has integrated into the locker room very well, with humility and seriousness. He has started off very well," Diario AS quoted Ancelotti as saying.

Ancelotti also discussed how the team is preparing for their first La Liga match without Toni Kroos, who retired this summer:

"Our first game went well. We will always miss Kroos; he was a special player. Finding someone like him is impossible, so instead, we must adapt."

Real Madrid is considered the top favorite for this season's La Liga title, and tomorrow, on August 18, they will travel to Palma de Mallorca to prove their status.
