Hat-trick! Liverpool newcomer finally delivers
Bradley Barcola has finally turned the pressure surrounding his Liverpool start into a spectacular European night.
Details: The French winger has completed a hat-trick against LASK in the Champions League, scoring in the 24th, 37th and 66th minutes. Barcola's third strike came shortly after the Austrian side had pulled one goal back, immediately restoring Liverpool's commanding advantage in Linz.

Barcola needed only two minutes to follow Ronald Araújo's opener with Liverpool's second goal of the evening. The newcomer then struck again before the break, completing his brace and putting the visitors firmly in control of the Champions League encounter.
The Frenchman did not stop there. After the interval, Jérémy Frimpong added another goal for Liverpool and LASK later reduced the deficit, but Barcola responded almost immediately. His third goal completed a memorable hat-trick and turned what had already been his breakthrough performance into a genuine statement night.
The timing could hardly have been better for the winger. Barcola had entered the match without a goal for Liverpool since his summer arrival from Paris Saint-Germain and had faced increasing attention over his slow start in England. In one evening in Austria, he emphatically ended that drought.
It is worth noting that Liverpool officially signed Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of August. Reuters reported that the French international agreed a five-year contract, with the overall value of the transfer potentially reaching £123 million.
