Erling Haaland continues to rewrite the record books of English football. In the seventh-round Premier League match against Ipswich Town, the Manchester City striker scored twice to help his team secure a 3-2 victory.

The second of his goals saw the Norwegian reach a historic milestone: he now has 100 non-penalty goals in the Premier League. According to statistics portal Opta, Haaland needed just 139 appearances to reach the mark — faster than any other player in the competition’s history.

The achievement once again underlines the forward’s incredible scoring rate since his arrival in English football. Haaland continues to find the back of the net with remarkable consistency and set new benchmarks for Premier League strikers.

His brace against Ipswich also strengthened the Norwegian’s position in the race for the Golden Boot this season, with eight goals to his name. Manchester City claimed all three points, winning all seven of their Premier League matches this season and continuing to lead the table.
