Paulo Duarte has sparked controversy ahead of Guinea's clash against South Africa tomorrow.
Duarte skipped the mandatory pre-match press conference at Orlando Amstel Arena without any valid reason as they prepared for tomorrow's 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
“He just didn’t want to come, he’s decided to focus on the pitch, focus on the players because they have the training session now,” said the team’s translator at he Soweto football venue.
Caf have since confirmed Guinea Football FA will be fined for this action by Duarte.
