Guardiola repeated an unpleasant anti-record with Manchester City

Manchester City failed to defeat Crystal Palace in the home match of the 17th round of the English Premier League. The citizens missed victory in the added time (2-2).

The Sky Blues have been unable to secure a win in their third consecutive home game in the EPL. Under the leadership of Pep Guardiola, this happened to the Man City only once - in December 2016, in the first season of the Catalan specialist at the head of the team.

Recall that prior to Crystal Palace, both Tottenham (3-3) and Liverpool (1-1) earned points at the Etihad Stadium. The last time City won at home in the league was against Bournemouth on November 4th (6-1).

Furthermore, the citizens haven't kept a clean sheet in seven consecutive Premier League matches. The last time they held a clean sheet in the league was on October 29th when they triumphed over Manchester United in the derby (3-0).

After today's draw, Manchester City remains in fourth place in the English league standings. They trail Liverpool by three points, but Jurgen Klopp's team will play their 17th round match against Manchester United on 17th December.
