Manchester City's head coach Pep Guardiola commented on the draw against Crystal Palace (2:2) in the 17th round of the English Premier League.

The Citizens were leading by two goals during the match but ended up missing out on victory, conceding the deciding goal in injury time.

"We give away two points for our mistake and what can I say? We do everything and a team that defends in the box like so, so deep. They arrive and we are punished but we have to be more calm and composed in that position. It is not the first time but it is what it is. Move forward, learn and [go to the] next one.

It is so difficult, the physicality of them. But yeah, the penalty cannot happen. It's happened, so at the end in that level they punish you." told Guardiola for BBC.

This marks the second time since Guardiola's arrival at the club that Manchester City has failed to secure victory in three consecutive home matches in the Premier League. Additionally, they have now conceded goals in seven successive league games.

Manchester City currently sits in the fourth position in the Premier League table. At present, they trail the leading Liverpool by three points, but Jürgen Klopp's team is yet to play their 17th round match.
