Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has commented on the rumors regarding the potential transfer of the team's primary goalkeeper, Ederson, to the Saudi Arabian league.
" “I don’t know if Éderson will stay. He has to make a decision”, Guardiola told BBC.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Ederson has already agreed to contract terms with Al-Ittihad. However, the clubs have yet to agree on a transfer fee.
It is also known that if Ederson leaves, Man City will not seek a replacement but will instead rely on Ederson's backup, Stefan Ortega.
Over his seven years at Manchester City, Ederson has played 332 matches and won six Premier League titles.
