GPL: GFA Charges Asante Kotoko Over Alleged Misconduct Against Match Officials During Medeama SC Clash

The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Disciplinary Committee has officially charged Asante Kotoko following allegations of threats and physical assaults on match officials during their Matchday 12 fixture against Medeama SC.
In its statement, the committee revealed that Kotoko failed to provide adequate protection for the officials after unauthorized individuals gained access to Zone 2 at halftime, where the alleged incident occurred. This breach is considered a violation of the 2025 Enhanced Matchday Protocols, which strictly outline security and access rules on matchdays.
The GFA has instructed Asante Kotoko to respond to the charges on or before Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
