Asante Kotoko assistant coach Prince Owusu has acknowledged that the club is enduring a difficult period following their dramatic 2–2 draw with Medeama SC on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors showed great resilience, coming from two goals down to secure a point. However, the draw extended their winless run to three matches, further underlining the growing challenges facing the team this season.

Speaking after the game, Owusu openly described the situation as “going through hell,” but stressed that the squad remains committed to fighting for the league title. He highlighted the club’s ongoing injury crisis as a major factor affecting their momentum, depth, and overall performance.

Owusu explained the situation further:

“As you said, you know there’s a lot of injuries. The window is going to be open very soon, so we can bring in some new players. But I’m not disappointed. The only game we lost that hurt me was against Holy Stars. The rest, the boys gave a very good performance,” Owusu said.
