Liverpool is set to be without their striker for several months.

Details: Today, the official page of English club Liverpool on social network X announced that the team's 26-year-old Swedish forward Alexander Isak has undergone successful surgery following a fractured ankle and fibula.

It is reported that Isak will be sidelined for several months as he recovers fully from the injury and surgery.

Isak suffered a fibula fracture during Matchweek 17 of the Premier League against Tottenham and was substituted in the 60th minute, despite only coming on at the start of the second half.

Isak joined Liverpool from Newcastle this summer for €145 million. The move became one of the most high-profile transfers in world football due to tough negotiations and Isak's dispute with Newcastle's management.

This season, Isak has made 16 appearances for the Reds, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.

Reminder: It looks very serious! Isak injured while scoring
