Golden Arrows striker Sede Dion says he is planning to continue working hard in order to be among the PSL leading goalscorers this season
If Sede Dion’s words are anything to go by, then the Golden Arrows striker is likely to become the PSL’s top goalscorer this season if not among the highest scorers.
The Ivory Coast native has nine to his name in the PSL games and he admitted its nothing special but just simple hard work.
Dion has turned out to be a great signing for Arrows in the Betway Premiership since joining from AmaZulu at the start of the season.
Arrows are ninth on the table with 20 points and it was Dion’s brace which saw them beat Magesi FC last Friday night at Seshego Stadium.
“There’s no secret to this, it’s just hard work and adapting quickly to the team. Coach Manqoba has been great to me, helping me stay calm and avoid putting too much pressure on myself,” Dion told FarPost.
“I don’t know how many goals I’ll score or how many games I’ll play, but I want as many as possible. It’s about staying calm and trusting your instincts, especially in front of goal. Sometimes you just have to do what feels right and hope it works out.
“It’s about being more clinical inside the box, and I’m grateful I’ve been able to stay focused. The team is all about pushing hard and achieving our goals, so we’re just taking it one game at a time.”
