Giroud hinted at retiring from the national team


Milan forward, Olivier Giroud, spoke about whether he plans to retire from the French national team.
According to the star striker, he has no long-term plans and is trying to concentrate on the tasks that confront him now, writes Telefoot.
"The most important thing is to be fit and ready to compete. My goal is the upcoming European Championship.
We almost won the Euro in 2016 and this trophy is my goal for France. This may be my last tournament, but I can’t predict the future", - said the French striker.
It is reasonable to mention that Giroud is the French team's record holder for the number of goals scored.
This season, the 37-year-old French national team player has played 16 matches for Milan, in which he scored eight goals and provided three assists.
The star player has been playing for the Italian team since the summer of 2021. Recently,the footballer has spoken about his future in Milan.
