Ghana Premier League: Medeama SC Coach Ibrahim Tanko Laments Missed Chances in Draw Against Bechem United
Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has attributed his side’s goalless draw with Bechem United to a lack of patience in front of goal during their Ghana Premier League clash at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.
Speaking to the club’s media after the match, Tanko admitted that while his team improved significantly in the second half, they failed to convert the opportunities they created.
“I think the first half was really tough; we didn’t create many chances, but in the second half the team created all the chances but couldn’t score,” Tanko said.
Despite the setback, Medeama SC continues their impressive unbeaten run, now stretching to eight matches, with only one defeat recorded this season. The Mauve and Yellow will next face Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
