Striker Raúl Jiménez is demonstrating remarkable consistency from the penalty spot in the Premier League. In the match against Burnley, the forward netted one of the goals by confidently converting a penalty.
Interestingly, the Mexican has scored all 14 penalties he has taken in the competition, maintaining a flawless 100% record. Only a handful of players in Premier League history have managed longer streaks of spot-kick perfection.
The record belongs to Matt Le Tissier, who reached 23 consecutive successful penalties in April 2000. Ahead of Jiménez on this list are also Mohamed Salah (15 consecutive penalties as of December 2021) and Harry Kane (15 as of May 2022).
Additionally, in the current season, the 34-year-old Jiménez has already scored 10 goals across all competitions. Nine of those have come in Premier League matches, with only Wilson scoring more for Fulham this campaign.
