France suffered a 2-0 defeat to Spain in the semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but it appears there were also issues with communication and understanding within the team.

Details: According to L'Équipe, several France players were left puzzled by some of Didier Deschamps' decisions during the match. The biggest source of confusion was Adrien Rabiot's substitution at half-time and Aurélien Tchouaméni remaining on the pitch.

Meanwhile, France winger Ousmane Dembélé addressed the squad in the dressing room during the match against Spain. However, his comments only frustrated several of his teammates.

It has also been revealed that Zinedine Zidane will be officially unveiled as France's new head coach by the end of next week. His contract has already been prepared, and the agreement is expected to be finalized by July 21.

As a reminder: Spain and Argentina will meet in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, and FIFA has already confirmed the officiating team for the showpiece match.
