Spain and Argentina will face off in the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and FIFA has now confirmed the officiating team for the showpiece match.

Details: According to FIFA's official announcement, Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić will oversee the final. He will be assisted on the touchlines by Tomaž Klančnik and Andraž Kovačič. Adham Makhadmeh and Mohammad Alkalaf have also been appointed as assistant officials.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and Spain will take place on Sunday, July 19, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 CET.

Following their victory over England, Argentina's players displayed a banner reading, "The Malvinas Islands are Argentina." As a result, they could face sanctions from FIFA.
