Former Orlando Pirates midfielder looking to impress at PSL's Orbit College even though coach Pogiso Makhoye is not looking at signing the midfielder
Lesedi Kapinga is the latest experienced player to be looking for a contract at Betway Premiership side Orbit College.
The former Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Black Leopards midfielder is club-hunting and his club-search has seen him at Rustenburg-based Orbit College.
Orbit has been luring the PSL most experienced players as they plan to preserve their Betway Premiership status having signed Bradley Ralani, Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Cyril Chibwe.
This has been seen largely to ensure they compete with PSL’s best team and Kapinga is the latest to seek employment at team.
Orbit are third from bottom and have been inconsistent in their play which resulted in them flirting with the drop zone.
But reading from coach Pogiso Makhoye’s words, it does not seem like Orbit College will consider signing Kapinga.
“We have brought in Mahlangu, the U/20 striker. It’s just he’s still struggling with fitness,” said Makhoye.
“But we are not going to bring anyone again. The only decision will be whether to include Ben Motshwari, as we have Mahlangu as a striker to help us score goals.
“So we are not worried because we only lost Saleng. It’s not like we lost the whole front three, especially people who have been scoring for us.”
They face bottom-placed Chippa United at home tomorrow.
