Former Inter and Nigeria striker Victor Nsofor Obinna announces birth of his son
Victor Nsofor Obinna, the former striker for Inter Milan and the Nigerian national team, has shared joyful news about his growing family. On his Instagram page, Obinna revealed that his wife, Anastasia Radi, has given birth to their son, named Christian.
Victor and Anastasia have been married since 2023, and the new addition joins their family as a younger brother to their elder daughter.
Throughout his career, Obinna played for several prominent clubs, including Inter Milan, West Ham, and Spain's Malaga. For Inter, he appeared in 11 matches and scored one goal. During the 2008/09 season, he celebrated winning the Serie A title and the Italian Super Cup with the Milanese side.
Obinna also represented Nigeria in nearly 50 matches, scoring 12 goals. He was part of the Nigerian team that claimed a silver medal at the Beijing 2008 Olympics and secured bronze medals at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2006 and 2010. With Nigeria's U-20 team, he won gold at the African Youth Tournament.
The 37-year-old retired from professional football in 2018, with his last club being Cape Town City in South Africa.
