Forgotten hero saves ten Hag's skin. What the media said after Man United's win over Liverpool
The duel between Manchester United and Liverpool caused a furore.
A classic clash in the history of English football has not been as close and intriguing for a long time. United quickly opened the scoring in the match, but lost the lead before the break. In the second half and overtime, the teams exchanged goals again, and the decisive factor was Ivorian striker Amad Diallo.
Diallo is definitely not the main forward in Erik ten Hague's schemes. However, he played a key role today. After his appearance on the pitch, the Red Devils scored three goals, and Amad himself became the author of the winning - fourth - in 120+1 minutes of the game.
Many media in the world in their materials played the name of the author of the decisive goal - Amad Diallo. And Spanish journalists called the Theatre of Dreams - as United's stadium, Old Trafford, is popularly called - the Theatre of Madness.
