Félix is prepared to accept a salary reduction in order to move to Chelsea
Atlético Madrid player João Félix is ready to move to Chelsea and is prepared to accept a salary cut for this opportunity.
According to insider Matt Law, the Portuguese forward is eager to return to Stamford Bridge. Moreover, it is not Chelsea who pursued Félix; rather, Atlético Madrid is actively seeking a solution to replace Omorodion and is attempting to sell Félix to the London club. If Félix indeed arrives, it could cast doubt on the future of Raheem Sterling.
Additionally, Fabrizio Romano has reported that negotiations for João Félix's transfer to Chelsea are at the final stage. His agent is still in London, negotiating with the Blues.
The situation has developed after the transfer of Atlético Madrid's striker Samu Omorodion to Chelsea fell through. Currently, the Blues and Los Colchoneros are discussing Félix's move to Chelsea as part of a deal involving Conor Gallagher.
Meanwhile, it's worth noting that Chelsea is also keeping an eye on Victor Osimhen and intends to secure him on loan for the next season.
