The transfer has fallen through. Atlético Madrid's striker will not be joining Chelsea

Chelsea is exploring options to strengthen their attacking line ahead of the new season. The Blues had set their sights on Atlético Madrid's young forward, Samu Omorodion.
A few days ago, Fabrizio Romano announced that the London club would pay £35 million as a fixed fee to Atlético Madrid for the player. Omorodion was expected to sign a seven-year contract with the Blues, and it seemed all the details were finalized.
However, as reported by Romano, the transfer of the player to Chelsea has fallen through. Omorodion is now returning to Madrid, and there is a strong possibility that he will join another club in the coming days.
Last season, Samu Omorodion successfully played on loan at Alavés. In 34 matches, the young forward scored 8 goals and provided 1 assist.
It is worth noting that Chelsea finished last season in sixth place, but will play in the Conference League as Manchester United won the FA Cup.
By the way, Atlético Madrid has finalized agreements with Chelsea for the transfer of Conor Gallagher and with Manchester City for the transfer of Julián Álvarez.
