First summer transfer? Man City reach agreement with Juventus defender Savona

Manchester City have reached a verbal agreement on personal terms with Juventus defender Nicolo Savona. The Italian is being considered as a possible alternative to Andrea Cambiaso, whom the Citizens unsuccessfully tried to acquire during the winter transfer window.
According to Tuttosport, Pep Guardiola may return to negotiations for Cambiaso in the summer, but for now has focused on Savona, with the Turin club open to discussing his sale.
According to Footmercato, a verbal agreement on personal terms has already been reached between the player and City. The next step is to agree terms with the player’s agent and the club.
It’s worth noting that Savona is having an impressive season. He has made 36 appearances for Juventus across all competitions and earned his first call-up to the Italian national team.
