Yan Diomande is becoming a real force in Real Madrid's attack, and this time he has made his mark on Europe's biggest stage.

Details: The 19-year-old Ivorian winger delivered an outstanding performance against his former club RB Leipzig in the third round of the Champions League league phase. Real Madrid secured a convincing 4-1 victory at the Santiago Bernabéu, with Diomande contributing a goal and an assist despite starting the match on the bench.

Diomande entered the pitch in the 70th minute, replacing Vinicius Junior, and needed just 13 minutes to make an impact. In the 83rd minute, the youngster provided an assist for Kylian Mbappé, who extended Madrid's advantage to 3-0.

But the Ivorian was not finished. In the 87th minute, he found the back of the net himself after receiving a pass from Brahim Díaz, scoring his first Champions League goal for Real Madrid and sealing the 4-1 victory.

This is another impressive performance from the summer signing. Just three days earlier, Diomande also recorded a goal and an assist in Real Madrid's 4-1 La Liga victory over Sevilla.

It's worth noting that Diomande joined Real Madrid from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2026. During his final season with the German club, the winger made 36 competitive appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists.
