Fifa suspends Bafana Bafana's Themba Zwane and Sphephelo Sithole for one game after red cards against Mexico
Themba Zwane and Sphephelo Sithole will only miss Bafana Bafana's clash against Czechia as Fifa suspended them for a single match instead of two.
The two players were red carded last Thursday in the World Cup's opening match against Mexico at the Azteca Stadium as Bafana lost 2-0 to the hosts.
It was feared that the duo will be out for the two remaining Group A matches against Czechia and South Korea.
But those fears have been allayed as Hugo Broos' creative force in Zwane will be allowed to play in the last match.
The absence of Zwane against Czechia may open the opportunity for youngster Relebohile Mofokeng to be given a rare World Cup start.
Thalente Mbatha may take Sithole's place in central midfield alongside Teboho Mokoena.
Thursday's match will be at the Mercedes Benz Stadium and it will start at 6pm South African time.
