Haaland delivered a true festival for his homeland.

Details: According to L'Equipe, yesterday in Norway, during the World Cup match between Iraq and Norway, the Norwegian seismic station recorded an earthquake caused by the ecstatic celebrations of Norwegian fans after Erling Haaland's historic brace against the Iraqis.

The Bergen seismic station reported minor underground tremors precisely at the moments when Haaland found the back of the net.

For Haaland, this brace marked his first ever at a World Cup, as Norway hadn't featured at the tournament since 1999—before Erling was even born.

Reminder: Madness! Erling Haaland scores a brace against Iraq and equals Robert Lewandowski's World Cup goal tally in just 43 minutes
