Fati wants to return to Barcelona

Forward Ansu Fati doesn't plan to stay with Brighton after the end of his loan agreement. According to Sport.es, the 21-year-old Spaniard intends to return to Barcelona and continue his career there. He believes he's stronger than the current attacking competition within the Catalan squad.

The source notes that the club itself is hoping to sell Fati in the summer for at least 30 million euros. However, Ansu wants to prove his worth to the team and intends to spend at least one more full season with the Catalan side.

It's worth mentioning that the player's contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2027. Transfermarkt values the forward at 35 million euros.

This season, Fati has played 13 matches for Brighton, scoring 4 goals and providing one assist.
