Fabulous sums! How much have Arsenal and PSG already earned in the Champions League?
The Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal is not only a battle for Europe’s most prestigious club trophy, but also a chance to boost already impressive UEFA prize money payouts.
Both teams have already raked in tens of millions of euros over the course of this season’s tournament. Each club received €18.62 million just for participating in the group stage.
Additional payouts depended on sporting results. PSG earned another €10.8 million thanks to their performances in the tournament, while Arsenal pocketed €16.8 million.
A significant portion of both finalists’ income came from their successful playoff campaigns. In the knockout rounds, each club added roughly €59 million to their budgets.
As a result, the French powerhouse’s total earnings from this season’s Champions League have reached €88.42 million. The London club has done even better—accumulating €94.42 million.
And the financial motivation for the final remains sky-high: the winner of the decisive match will receive an additional bonus of €6.5 million.
