Everton have agreed a transfer deal for the talent Barcelona were interested in

Hull City talent Jaden Philogene, who had attracted interest from Barcelona, will continue his career in the English Premier League.

According to The Times, Everton has agreed on a transfer for the 22-year-old player for a fee of £16 million.

Philogene has given his approval for the move to Everton and will soon begin contract negotiations with the Liverpool-based club.

Previously, the favorite to sign Philogene was newly-promoted Premier League side Ipswich, but Everton has outpaced them in this race.

In the recently concluded Championship season, Philogene scored 12 goals and provided 6 assists in 32 matches. He has also scored 3 goals in 4 appearances for the England U-21 national team.
