It's worth noting that Manchester City are set to kick off their Club World Cup campaign today — the English side will face Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca this evening. The match will take place in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field. In Group play, City will also take on Al Ain from the UAE and Juventus from Turin.
Erling Haaland arrived at the City camp in high spirits after his international fixtures. Norway secured victories in both matches, with Haaland scoring in each. The team now boasts four wins in four games and has an excellent chance of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
